Friends? or Frenemies?
Learn the difference at the 2010 SACSC Youth Action Conference!
The Society for Safe and Caring Schools & Communities
(SACSC) invites secondary teachers,
youth workers and students to join us for this
special full-day event!
On May 26, students from four Alberta
schools will travel to Edmonton to share the results of Youth Action projects designed
to address relational
aggression. This conference will also feature IRL: IN REAL LIFE, an
original musical theatre presentation written, researched and performed by the
teens of Multi-Youth
Productions. This one-hour show is designed to address cyberbullying by increasing
teens’ awareness of how their online interactions can have a serious impact in
the “real world.”

projects in the ATA
In addition to providing students with
invaluable information about topics that affect their lives, Youth Action can
be integrated into the language arts and health curricula. For more information
