Police Invites Community to Meet Calgary’s Finest

Do you want to know how to enhance your safety? Want to learn how to become a Calgary police officer? Or maybe you’re looking for tips to protect your family from predators online? Well all of these questions will be answered by Calgary police officers this Saturday.

The Calgary Police Service is hosting a Community Information Session on Saturday, May 15, at the Tecumseh Naval Base, 1820 24 St. S.W., between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Officers will be on-hand to answer questions and meet with members of the community.

Community members are encouraged to drop by, bring their families, and talk to some of Calgary’s finest. Patrol officers, members of the Canine Unit, Gang Unit and Traffic Section will all be on-hand, and so will Calgary Police Recruiters. All members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend to help us ensure Calgary remains a safe community.

For more information call A/Sgt Cyril Pratt or any of your Community Liaison Officers in District 2 at 403-567-6200.
