The Community Life Improvement Council (CLIC) has re-initiated the very popular Safety Review program in partnership with Bylaw Services and the Calgary Police Service.

This program provides property managers, owners and residents with a thorough review of their property (both day and nigh time reviews are conducted) and written report. Reviews are conducted by CPTED trained specialists and Bylaw or CPS members accompany the Specialists to add their expertise and perspective to the report.

The philosophy behind the reviews are taken from the common sense concepts of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) and the entire property is reviewed. Through this lens we will look at all aspects of safety including the built and social environment, the effects of the interior and surrounding area and some solutions that you may implement to mitigate potential risks on your property.

There is no cost for the review however properties are expected to support the program through feedback in 2 post review surveys and to assist in the information gathering during the process.

If this is of interest to you and your property please register here and one of our Specialists will contact you shortly.
